TikTok Business Messaging Integration

HotCall plans to integrate with the TikTok Business Messaging API to help businesses receive and manage customer direct messages from authorized TikTok Business Accounts inside their CRM systems.

This integration is not yet approved or available. It will only be available after TikTok approval, the granting of API access and explicit business account authorization. This description does not imply an official partnership with TikTok.

Why API access is needed

The planned integration is intended to help businesses handle customer inquiries within their CRM. TikTok Business Messaging API access is needed to receive permitted messages and conversation metadata, synchronize them with the CRM and send replies through the functionality supported by TikTok.

Planned capabilities

After approval, the integration may allow businesses to:

• Receive customer inquiries from TikTok Direct Messages.
• Transfer conversations and lead information to a CRM system.
• Create or update CRM leads and contacts.
• Allow sales or support teams to process customer inquiries more efficiently.
• Respond to customers through supported TikTok messaging functionality.

Actual capabilities will depend on approved permissions, available API functionality and the configuration of the connected CRM.

After approval, a TikTok Business Account owner will explicitly authorize the connection. HotCall will synchronize permitted data with the business's chosen CRM so authorized sales or support staff can handle inquiries. Replies through TikTok will be limited to the API access granted.

Authorization and TikTok data

HotCall will only access TikTok data from Business Accounts that explicitly authorize the integration.

TikTok data will only be used for customer communication, CRM synchronization and related business support purposes.

TikTok data will not be sold or shared with unrelated third parties. Data may be processed by the CRM selected by the business and service providers necessary for the stated purposes.
